WooHooo Wednesday Express
Hey Becky,
You should be so proud of that girl of yours. She sure does seem to have a heart of gold. Takes after her Mom I guess. You know we dont talk that often, and now that I live so far away we dont see each other either..but I have noticed a huge change in your posts these days. Its nice to see you full on confidence. You should be. Owning a house, working full time, and being a single mom is not an easy task I am sure. Give yourself a pat on the pack and know that you can do anything. God is good! Hugs to you and keep up the great work you are doing. The house looks great!
I guess the move really made a difference in my whole life. I needed to be out of that environment and it's like I got another chance.
I am really trying to do my best to be confident and stay positive. I made a promise to someone dear to me and to ME. Seems to be working.
God IS good and he has good things in store for us!
Hugs

forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could be any different
I feel like the Whos in Whoville.... "I am here! I am Here! I AM HERE!!!" Wooo Hoo for having my internet connection back finally!!!! Yippee skippy and happy dancing! :)
Not much to say other than how happy I am to be back. Would love to do my usual cheerleading, but hubby just called and asked me to lunch. Guess that's another Woo hoo!!
Hope everyone has a GREAT day! Hugs and prayers for all. MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!
Yesterday Kaylee was sick so I stayed home. Today I have a ton of stuff to catch up on. We have a therapist going out on maternity leave so the three other therapists in the district (one of them being ME) get to take up her caseload. That means I'm adding another 15 or so kids to my already crazy schedule. On top of it all, my computer isn't working properly so everytime I do anything with special ed. paperwork my computer freezes up. Gotta love it! I do love my job and if I just got to do therapy and none of the paperwork/meeting/conferences/ etc etc I'd be in heaven. My life is going to be crazy the next 8 weeks or so- I'll be serving two elementary campuses and the junior high.
Danni- you brought tears to my eyes this morning when I read about the raffle. My dad was in the Navy. He served one or two tours on a ship when I was a kid. The men would all stand around the outside of the deck of the ship at Parade Rest while it was coming into port. First we'd go to an area that was called "The Mole" and watch for it to come thru the breakers. Once we saw it we'd all get in our cars and drive to the pier. We'd get there at about the same time the tug boats did. The ship that Dad was on had like a thousand men on it. They'd ALL be wearing Navy Peacoats so it was VERY hard to tell them apart. They weren't allowed to stand down, wave, or call out. Whenever Dad spotted us he'd sign "I love you" to me. As a kid I'd quickly scan from sailor to sailor looking for him. Afterwards we'd stand there for what seemed like hours while they unloaded everything but the crew.
Gotta get busy!
Love you Guys!

Work is super busy and I'm not feeling very excited about life right now so I'm trying to work on ME right now to find my happy, healthy place.
I'm also going to ask for prayers for my SIL this morning. She is at MD Anderson for a double mastectomy (breast cancer) with surgery scheduled at noon. Her mother died from breast cancer and both of her sisters were DXed with it at a young age too. It's definitely a scary situation for all of those sisters to see their mother die of breast cancer and then ALL three of them having double mastectomies in their 30s and 40s. I'll update when I hear something, my mom and step-dad are there with them.
Hugs,

Lynette so good to see you back posting. Phyllis, you have quite the artist in residence. Her bucket is awesome. My daughter did something like this as well when she was in HS. Dana prayers out to your SIL for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
So busy at work, Only get to post on breaks and lunch. With the weather the way it has been all over the country we are swamped. Imagine that people actually want heat! LOL At least we are not in an are where it is 20 and 30 below zero. Normally I only work 7:30 to 4:30, but have been working 7-6:30. sometimes the stress/carb monster trys to get me, but I too have my magic wand and have been fighting him/her off. Well break is over, time to get back to it. Blessings to all!

Good LATE morning ya'll...I slept til 9:00 and have been catching up reading ever since. Some good news here. My Mom passed her cardiac clearance and had her bladder cancer surgery. Doc said everything went fine and she flew thru the day surgery without a hitch. At 88 years old you always worry.
Hailey went and had 2 cavities filled yesterday and they informed her she needs to have her wisdom teeth removed cuz they are growing in sideways. Does anyone know if it's covered under medical or dental insurance? I'm praying medical.
I've had 2 days from hell this week. Tons of babies being born with "standing up" lunch breaks. I swear I come home and want to go staight to bed. Guess that's why I slept late today. Hoping to see Liz today as she will be on my side of town. Other than that, it's cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping so I can return to work tomorrow.
Clay just called, they had their quarterly meeting today and no more layoffs are planned. That's always good news but I'm gonna start reading my Dave Ramsey books anyway and working on a budget.
